ケンブリッジ英検 FCE（B2 First）スピーキング対策 : 問題例と解答例、解答のコツ
Cambridge B2 First（FCE）は、国際的に認められている英語試験で、上級中級レベル（B2）の英語力を測定します。スピーキング試験では、流暢さ、一貫性、語彙力、対話能力が評価されます。
形式：
- 通常、2名1組で受験し、2人の試験官が進行・評価を行います。試験時間は約14分です。
- パート1（インタビュー）、パート2（ロングターン／写真の比較）、パート3（ディスカッションタスク）、パート4（一般的なディスカッション）の4部構成です。
下記では、各パートの問題例と解答例、解答のコツ、使える便利な表現を紹介しています。
A. パート1（インタビュー-約2分）
試験官があなたの興味、日常生活、将来の計画について質問します。
問題例：
“What do you do in your free time?”
“Do you enjoy going out with your friends?”
“What do you do at home when you can’t go out?”
“Tell me about a sport or activity you’d like to try in the future.”
ヒント:
- 答えは自然で会話的に話すことを意識しましょう。
- 複数の時制を使い、文法の幅を示しましょう。
- 一言で終わらせず、理由や具体例を加えて詳しく説明しましょう。
B. パート2（ロングターン／写真の比較-約4分）
各受験者は2枚の写真を与えられ、約1分間でそれらを比較します。その後、もう一人の受験者が関連する質問に簡単に答えます。
問題例：
“Compare the two photographs. What are their similarities and differences?”
“What might be the advantages of students studying in each situation?”
解答例:
“In the first photograph, students are studying in a traditional classroom with a teacher, while in the second, they are studying in a more informal setting, possibly at home. Both groups are focused on learning, but in the first setting, students can interact directly with a teacher, while in the second, they may have more flexibility but also face distractions.”
ヒント:
- まず全体的な比較から始め、細部に移りましょう。
- whereas, on the other hand, both, however などのつなぎ言葉を使いましょう。
- 1分間しっかり話し、長い沈黙を避けましょう。
- 行動、人物、状況を明確に説明しましょう。
- It looks like..., They might be..., Perhaps they are... などの推測表現を使いましょう。
写真を比較するための便利な表現
比較を始めるとき：
- Both pictures show...
- In both pictures, we can see...
- These pictures are similar because...
違いを強調するとき：
- In the first picture... whereas in the second...
- One key difference is that...
- Unlike the first picture, the second one...
推測するとき：
- It looks like they are...
- They might be...
- Perhaps they are...
個人的な好みを表すとき：
- I would prefer to... because...
- I think I’d enjoy... more because...
C. パート3（ディスカッションタスク-約4分）
受験者同士で与えられたテーマについて話し合い、結論を出します。試験官が状況と選択肢を提示します。
問題例：
“Your teacher wants to introduce after-school activities to help students learn and enjoy school more. Discuss the benefits of these activities and decide which two are the most beneficial.”
選択肢：
- Reading & language classes
- Volunteer work (teaching kids, library work, etc.)
- Playing board games or chess
- Cleaning work (library, gym, classroom)
ヒント:
- パートナーと対話し、意見を求めましょう。
- What do you think?, I agree because..., That’s a good point, but... などのフレーズを使いましょう。
- 時間内に結論に達しましょう。
ディスカッションに役立つ表現
賛成するとき：
- I completely agree with you.
- That’s a great point!
- I think you’re right about that.
反対するとき（丁寧に）：
- I see your point, but I think...
- That’s an interesting idea, but have you considered...?
- I’m not so sure about that because...
意見を述べるとき：
- In my opinion, ...
- Personally, I believe that...
- From my point of view, ...
提案するとき：
- Maybe we could consider...
- How about choosing...?
- Why don’t we go with...?
結論を出すとき：
- So, we both agree that...
- Let’s go with these two options then.
- I think we’ve decided on...
D. パート4（一般的なディスカッション-約4分）
パート3のテーマに関連する、より広範な質問に答えます。
問題例：
“Is it necessary for students to have after-school activities?”
“Why do you think some students aren’t interested in after-school activities?”
“Describe your typical day as a student.”
“If you had extra time after school, what would you like to do?”
“What subjects or activities in your school are most useful?”
ヒント:
- 理由や具体例を交えて詳細に答えましょう。
- 意見を明確に述べましょう（In my opinion, I believe that...）。
- 自然に話すために、さまざまな文構造を使いましょう。
何が評価されるか
- 文法の正確さと多様性： 正しい文法構造を使う能力や、幅広い語彙が評価されます。
- 流暢さと一貫性： 話がどれだけスムーズで自然か、アイデアがどれだけうまくまとまっているかが評価されます。
- 語彙力： 語彙の範囲と適切さが評価されます。
- 発音とコミュニケーションスキル： 発音の明瞭さ、理解されやすさ、全体的なコミュニケーションの効果が評価されます。
成功のためのヒント
- パートナーと練習したり、自分の話を録音したりしましょう。
- 写真の説明や意見表現の語彙を増やしましょう。
- 落ち着いて自信を持ちましょう。流暢さが完璧さよりも重要です。
- 試験官の指示をよく聞き、自然に対応しましょう。
